Google Chiropractic Business Page Statistics for February of 2016
According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the chiropractic industry is growing at a rapid pace, 15% job growth expected in the next 7 years. Marketing your local based chiropractic practice is going to get even more competitive in the nearest future. More and more local based platforms are being created every year. No one really knows which one of them is going to produce better conversion rates – I mean bringing in new chiropractic patients. The best conversion platform at this point and time is Google Chiropractic Business Page.
To ensure a steady flow of new patients, it would be smart to properly optimize your Google Chiropractic Business Page. Constantly update it with engaged content which must be local based optimized as well. Let’s go into little details about statistics that I was able to achieve in a month of February of 2016. You can ask me more direct questions via my Instagram Feed and just continue a conversation there or just drop a comment at the end of this blog post. I must admit that February was a super busy month for me. We saw 56 new patients that month. Out of 56 new patients 32 were paying out of pocket – cash, check or credit card and 24 were personal injury cases. Out of 24 personal injury cases 10 were with medical payments policy and 14 were lien cases and were represented with personal injury attorneys that I have worked with in a past.
My active practice Google Local Page stats for February 2016. Looking good in my opinion. If anyone disagrees please lmk why. Practice is booming. 5 new patients are scheduled for Friday 03/11/16. Chiropractic Local Search Engine Optimization Marketing Strategies
If you want your chiropractic office to stand out among many other chiropractic offices in your 10-15 miles radius I suggest that you do the following steps.
1) Optimize Your Google Chiropractic Business Page. Your Google Chiropractic business page is assigned to you by Google as a way to identify you on Google maps. If you haven’t already claimed your page, do it now! You’ll want to make sure you’ve got pictures of yourself and your clinic, a description, proper category selection, and by all means – lots of reviews! Do not save money on professional photos. Hire a good photographer and upload nice photos of yourself. You ca add a call to action in any photo editing software. Mine says: “If You Are in Pain Call Us Now 510-481-2225.”
Below is an example of my Chiropractic Business Page. I had more than a few compliments from my patients.
A = Smiling photo of the doctor
B = Verified business (the check mark indicates that)
C = Complete business name, address, phone# matches his website, and website URL
D = Proper category selection and up to date office hours
A design of your own cover page and profile photos is limited by your imagination. So, don’t be shy make your Google Chiropractic Page stand out among thousands of others.
2) Get Reviews From Your Happy Chiropractic Patients.
Customers inherently trust reviews your existing happy chiropractic patients over advertisements that come from the company itself. According to Nielsen, 92 percent of customers say that they trust advertisements and recommendations from third parties more than traditional, paid advertising. Given the prominence of Google local listings on local SERPs, having multiple positive reviews can be incredibly helpful. The feedback will be displayed prominently right by your company name, encouraging people to click and book a appointment without even asking what would be the cost of a chiropractic care in your clinic.
Reviews can also impact how well the business is listed on the Google SERP. Google understands the value that customers place on third party reviews and thus when a business has numerous positive reviews, the search engine assumes that this is a company that fulfills customers’ needs and should be featured more prominently.
Encourage your chiropractic patients to leave you reviews by adopting some of the following practices:
- Reminding customers after a successful chiropractic treatment or during regular communication during office visits that reviews are appreciated
- Using your Google+ platform to ask customers to leave reviews
- Including the URL to your Google+ page on company cards, newsletters, and other communications
3) Add Content To Your Website and Leverage it Ranking
Blogging regularly is one of the best ways to generate new leads in Google. Every time you add new content to your website, you give people new ways to find you. I can tell you with 100% certainty that I blog at least once a week see internet traffic steadily increase to my website, whereas clients who don’t blog see traffic that’s flat or in decline.
Your website URL should be included in your Google+ local listing. Google will use information from the website to improve the search listings that appear on its page. This means your website needs to be easily read by search engines. Include a well-developed About Us page and Home Page that include keywords, the business address and quality content. The addition of rich media content, such as an embedded map that shows the business location also provides tremendous value.
Given the prevalence of local searches and the importance they place in the modern marketplace, taking the time to optimize your local listings page with Google can help you drastically boost your business. By focusing on the above areas, you will help Google to understand your value while also communicating with potential visitors what makes you special. It is this combination that will grow your traffic through local search.
According to Google, an estimated 73 percent of all online activity is related to local searches. Customers turn to local search to learn about the businesses available in their area and evaluate what companies they would like to patronize.
For businesses who want to take advantage of the opportunities presented by these searchers, optimizing your Google local listing is an excellent way to get started. These listings are featured prominently in local SERPs on the popular search engine and are perfect for attracting attention and bringing in new customers.
