Google Plus Page Guide for Chiropractors in 2015Speculations that Google is planning to shut down Google Plus for businesses  and individual accounts are not true. As a matter of fact Google Plus is gaining more traction in 2015. Small local based businesses take advantage of this amazing Google app which can do so much for your bottom line. What makes Google Plus page so different than the rest of the Social Media Universe?

Video distribution which can be directly uploaded  to your youtube chiropractic brand page account allows chiropractor post video testimonials, showing  off his/her adjusting skills to a potential new patient. Optimizing video for a google local search will bring the results to the top of the page and leave your competition behind.
With google web based editing ph0tos software chiropractor can publish great photos directly  from a mobile  phone and let followers know what is happening  today at the office in real time. Using  hash tags and geo tagging your office  location will provide  a better  exposure of the image to a public.
The coolest feature of Google plus and it is currently  the only social media  platform  that allows  to do that is an ability  to publish GIF files. GIF is a constantly  looping video presentation aka animation made out of images  or a short video. The possibilities  are limitless  here.

Also you can directly communicate with your patients who have google account. I assume you collect your new patients email addresses and the most valuable are the ones that have gmail.com extension. When you add these patients to your google page account and they choose to follow your brand page – you have an ability to instant chat or have video conversation with them if you choose to do so. Imagine doing health talk to within a comfort of your office or better yet your home.

It is 2015 and I still see many chiropractic businesses without properly optimized Google Plus Page or lack of claimed one. A Doctor of Chiropractic must understand that Google Plus Page is Google. Whatever  is being  published on your Chiropractic Google Plus Brand Page is being ranked by Google Search Engine – Not Facebook, Not LinkedIn, and Not Twitter. If you haven’t claimed one yet I suggest that you get to it ASAP. If you know you claimed one but do not show up in your Google Local Search results you got a lot of work to do.

If you Google San Leandro Chiropractor you will be able to see that my page is #1 in search results. This Google Plus Page alone brings in high  quality 10-20 new patients  each month. And that is a town with only 90,000 population. What if you live and work in a large metropolitan area like New York City or Los Angeles. The numbers  can be much higher. It is a free marketing machine of the present and the future. I do not chase my patients they call me when they are ready to come in.

With my current count of 65 positive reviews I do not need to do any closing at all. My previous patients speak about their experience and that is also backed up by video testimonials on my page as well. Posting on regular bases is the key with Google Plus just like with  any other social network such as Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn.

I have my own system in place that works and delivers the results of encouraging  patients writing a review.
When you have 5 reviews the stars will show up next to your Google Page listing. But Google can change that rule next month and make it 10 reviews or greater before you see the stars next to your Google page.
