Chiropractic Marketing With Twitter Video
There’s no shortage of social video platforms in 2015, and each one of them is competing for a larger share of the user base. So why should chiropractors market their practices with video content to Twitter? Vlogging is growing very rapidly. YouTube search engine is generating more searches than Yahoo. People turn to Video content because it is easier to digest and a viewer gets to learn more in a shorter period of time.
What distinguishes Twitter from platforms like Snapchat, Vine, Youtube, Periscope and Meerkat is what people can do around the content. A conversation on Twitter can happen instantly and directly with a content creator. Twitter is a mobile platform. Hardly anyone is using a desktop or a laptop to post a fresh content on a twitter platform. That makes it even easier for chiropractors to post their video content on Twitter. If you have a great following on your account it is very much similar to Periscope and Meerkat. You record something LIVE and post it on a twitter stream few seconds later. Your smartphone saves recording to your phone library which you can post later on to your YouTube channel. Since Twitter is a microblogging platform a video publishing is limited to 30 seconds. It seems like a very short period of time but it is 5 times more than Vine offers and you can squeeze a lot more than 140 characters in 30 seconds of video.
Twitter is working hard to make both sharing and viewing video easier. Many extra steps have been eliminated to make video content publishing on Twitter with one click of a button. If you’re not sure what to include in your chiropractic twitter video, consider what unique perspective you might have to offer. What do your followers want to see? How about 30 seconds video once a day about each vertebral level and symptoms patients might experience with associated subluxation. Have your secretary video record you adjusting a patient. How about quick nutritional advice. Possibilities are limited by your imagination. The more greater video content you post out there the greater the chances that someone will find you and will utilize your chiropractic services sooner or later.
Beyond Twitter’s native video functionality, of course, are Vine and Periscope, both of which Twitter owns. Both of these platforms have been discussed on my blog and how a chiropractor can utilize those platforms to market their practices. Musicians are getting label contracts based on their Vine success, and Periscope is enabling applications like a pianist who will take requests from his live audience. An ever evolving Twitter is a dynamic platform. It will be impossible to predict what twitter is going to be like a year from now.
I strongly believe that video content for chiropractors will be able to provide a strong internet presence for local patients as well as an international presence. People are constantly searching for information that can help them solve their health related problems. There are more chiropractic offices than starbucks coffee shops in any major city or town in the USA but some countries do not have a single chiropractor and people have to travel in order to gain access to a chiropractic care. I have seen this happened in Dubai. Chiropractic patients from Yemen would travel to Dubai. Even though they are neighboring countries it is still a huge burden to stay over for a prolonged period of time in a foreign country. A Chiropractor that I have met in Dubai has a strong internet presence in that region. This doctor is utilizing many social media channels to spread a word about Chiropractic in a Golf Region. What is your video strategy?
